Night Heron Software is a one-person consulting practice founded by Jeff Romine, a senior software engineer with over 20 years of experience building and modernizing large-scale distributed systems.

Background

My career spans e-commerce, fintech, print-on-demand, and media industries. I've led cloud migrations at scale (AWS at Overstock.com, GCP at GearLaunch), replaced legacy PL/SQL monoliths with modern Java microservices, and built full-stack applications from the ground up.
